It’s not unusual for clients to tell us exactly what they want – what they really, really want. So when Crown Sydney reached out to Nightlife Music for a curated playlist to help celebrate a very special occasion, we were more than ready to rise to the challenge.
Global pop icon Melanie C, best known as “Sporty Spice” from the legendary Spice Girls, hosted an intimate evening event featuring a casual acoustic performance and Q&A session. To mark the occasion, Crown Sydney created a special Wannabe High Tea, complete with luxe bites and Spice Girls inspired cocktails. With such a memorable experience on offer, the event needed a soundtrack worthy of the moment.
To bring the atmosphere to life, Austin Rennie (Client Service Representative) worked closely with Matthew Lymbury (Head of Music and Content) to craft the perfect playlist. Inspired by the Spice Girls and the golden era of pop they helped define, the carefully curated selection blended nostalgic hits with empowering pop anthems, creating a soundtrack that perfectly complemented the nostalgia-filled menu.
As Lymbury puts it, “Amplifying our customers’ experiences through music creates the kinds of moments that make us go ‘zigazig ah’!”
With expertly curated playlists for every occasion and access to the best music from around the world, Nightlife is always ready to help bring your next event to life.
