Looking for some summery music vibes for your venue? Look no further than Starley’s new single ‘Lovers + Strangers’!
You may not know Starley’s name, but chances are you’ve heard her breakthrough single ‘Call On Me’ (which went 4x platinum in Australia) and the Ryan Riback remix of that song. The Sydney singer-songwriter’s new track reminisces on romantic relationships and the various stages they go through.
“Wrote this song a year ago about the crazy feeling of absence that remains after a break-up. The person who was once your best friend, the one you’d tell everything to becomes a memory. And little by little, you start to forget the sound of their voice and the feeling of their touch.” Starley
The music video, directed by Millicent Hailes (who’s worked with Migos, Lil Yachty, Billie Eilish and Young Thug) continues the theme she started with the music video for her single ‘Love Is Love’, celebrating relationships of all kinds.
There are rumours of upcoming shows as Starley will be back in Australia soon, but in the meantime, we’re listening to ‘Lovers + Strangers’ on repeat.
