Nightlife’s Accounts Team

The members of the Accounts Department at Nightlife Music Video are the ‘data’ people of our company.

They are a small but dedicated team who are responsible for managing the figures in and out of Nightlife and ensuring that our client records are accurate and up-to-date.

The integrity of our client databases is essential in providing the outstanding service our clients have come to expect. Introducing Nightlife’s quiet achievers, our Accounts team:

Heatherbell: Sales Processing/Bookkeeper
Heatherbell is no stranger to multi-tasking, she has numerous responsibilities within the Accounts Department and additional roles within the company, including being an active member of our Social Committee. Heatherbell fields enquiries regarding client accounts and processes this information through our various databases. She also assists with debt collection and works on accounts payable and receivable.

Lorraine: Senior Bookkeeper

Lorraine plays an important role in the Accounts Department. She is responsible for processing the major reconciliation of Nightlife’s books and wages of Nightlife employees. Lorraine also has the important job of managing our large corporate group accounts. In addition, she supports the rest of the Accounts team by assisting with numerous telephone enquiries.

Servanda: Assistant to Managing Director

Servanda has a dual role at Nightlife. She primarily works as Personal Assistant for Managing Director, Mark Brownlee. She also assists the Accounts team part time. When working in Accounts, Servanda is busy banking our customers’ payments, doing accounts payable and assisting with debt collection.

Vicki: Director/Receptionist
One of Nightlife’s directors and wife of Managing Director, Mark Brownlee, Vicki is an integral member of the Accounts Department. When she’s not fielding phone calls, Vicki is kept busy working on invoicing, debt collection and arranging payment to suppliers. Team spirits are kept high with Vicki’s bright and cheery personality.

The Mawson Club
Canberra’s Mawson Club has been a Nightlife client for a number of years and features astylish cafe, bar and lounge. The Club’s main promotional tool is its entertainment, which manager John Holt believes, “...is extremely important to create atmosphere and ambience.”

The Club runs a total of eight zones with two defined types; one for general background music and the other for high-end sound reinforcement. All areas run two channels of Nightlife music with vision supplied by Sony Vega 42-inch high resolution plasma screens. The HDMS™ is programmed to complement the trade; starting with down tempo music during the day and building to a faster pace by 9pm and is supported by a powerful and comprehensive sound system, designed and installed by Club AV.

Be sure to check out the Mawson Club next time you’re in the ACT, or visit www.mawsonclub.com.au

Latest Releases

March Main

Despite being at the bottom end of the planet, the abundance of forthcoming touring artists just keeps getting bigger and better. It seems the summer concert season has extended well beyond February with the likes of The Darkness, Snoop Dogg, Korn, The Veronicas and Ben Harper all gearing up to hit our shores. You can check out the newest videos from these brilliant talents on our latest programs. Sadly U2 have postponed their Aussie tour dates due to the illness of a close family member.

Thankfully Kanye West, who was slotted for the U2 support, is going ahead with his sideshows because let’s face it, if there’s one name on everybody’s lips right now, it has to be his. The man truly is on fire. See for yourself on his latest smash Touch The Sky, a funkier-than-a-mosquitos-tweeter, horn-driven hip hop anthem with an equally excellent (maybe even his best) music video. Obviously designed to indulge Kanye’s every music video fantasy, the video features him on top of the world overlooking the Grand Canyon, locking lips with  former Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson and setting a Hot Wheels rocket on fire at the end. Check out his MJ-inspired dance moves when he hits our shores
next month.

Once again we have some banging club tracks for you to wrap your groove around this month. Paul Mac releases another single, Bananarama are back in a big way and the New Radicals’ You Get What You Give is given the dance makeover thanks to LMC.

Vicious Vinyl are sitting pretty atop the dance heap at the moment, producing some of the hippest and hottest club tracks around right now. This month’s CR program features some forthcoming club crackers to add to your playlists. Dirty South sure have the Midas touch at the moment and their reworking of Evermore’s It’s Too Late is guaranteed to turn to gold on your dance floor. Also from Vicious this month is Raise Your Hand, a funky, electro house number from Ike & Tina Turner Vs Gauzz plus a couple of remixes of the 90s Stevie V track Dirty Cash rejigged by Mind Electric. Why not set your dance floor alight now?

By now you’ve surely noticed the abundance of awesome classics we’re sending through on a monthly basis. It’s a perfect opportunity for us to drastically expand our library and take some valuable feedback from you guys. This month’s additions are no exception with the inclusion of some legendary videos from Guns N’ Roses, The Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson and Jeff Buckley. If it’s retro party faves to get your dag on to, then we also have you covered  - Word Up by Cameo, Brickhouse by the Commodores and Tiffany’s poptastic I Think We’re Alone Now.
