In a matter of days, the FIFA World Cup will commence. The world’s largest sporting event is being hosted by Russia in 2018 and Australia has a chance of progressing out of Group C and into the round of 16. Here’s your assets for the month-long event which kicks off (literally) on June 14!
As with all big events, you can find relevant Digital Advertising slides from Nightlife on your update disc or via the Manage My Nightlife web app. These include Promotional slides and customisable Text-Over-Image slides that you can add your own message to.
Some ideas for ways to use your Text-Over-Image slides include:
- advertise which matches you’re showing live
- promote food or beverage specials
- support your team
- display special World Cup event details
A special extra for the World Cup is our Countdown slide, counting down to the opening match; Russia vs Saudi Arabia (which occurs at AEST 1am Friday June 15). You can find this one on your Manage My Nightlife web app in the Advertising Library, file name count_FIFAWC18.
To celebrate the world game, we’ve got a playlist for you called SOCCER ANTHEMS – it’s the perfect warm up for your venue before a World Cup game, with the most popular soccer sing-a-longs included to get the crowd fired up.
And in true World Cup spirit, you can bet there’s official songs to go with the sporting action – two in fact.
The official song for the 2018 FIFA World Cup is ‘Live It Up’ by Nicky Jam featuring Will Smith and Era Istrefi. The track was produced by Diplo and the clip features a cameo by Brazilian football great Ronaldinho!
As a FIFA Partner, Coca-Cola have also released their anthem ‘Colors’ by Jason Derulo.
As a bonus, we’ve put together a Spotify playlist of World Cup Anthems – listen below or on Spotify:
Nightlife also has your screens covered for the whole tournament! SOCCER_TV is jam-packed with highlights from the world’s major soccer competitions, including the EPL and European Champions League.
If you need a hand with any of the above, please give us a call on 1800 773 468.
